Monz
Took the beast flying again, pics in the link below. It's a public album. Hope to make it to the Orme in October. https://www.facebook.com/monique.lyons.16/media_set?set=a.10152274386927117.1073741831.541747116&type=1 Edited By Monz on 31/08/2014 15:04:
Pete B
The Bucc looks staggeringly authentic in those pics, Monz - super stuff and you should be justifiably proud of her! Pete

Colin Leighfield
That heart-stopping moment when you lose it and it goes in, I'm certainly familiar with that. There's clearly not a lot wrong with that design or build though, it's great to know that you had it flying again soon after. The Buccaneer is the only plane Blackburn ever made that really impresses me, but boy, did they get that one right! About 10 years ago I was in Hull for the day on business and drove down the road to have a look at Brough, which though B.Ae. is the original Blackburn home. I drove into the sight and was amazed to see one of the original NA.39 prototypes with Gyron Juniors parked up there, built and flown before they chose the Buccaneer name. A while ago B.AE announced that they were closing the site, but gave it a reprieve when they got more work for the Hawk. I don't know if the NA.39 is still there.
