Andrew Russell 2
Ive been flying electric models for around 6 years or so but to be honest ive always just been winging it with electric setups. Can anyone give me a list of equations for figuring out the various things i need to know for electric flying? Thanks in advance

Steve Hargreaves - Moderator
Here's a couple..... V = I x R P = V x I
Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator
Not to mention... P=I2 x R (that's an "i squared" by the way!) You can derive that from Steve's pair of equations - that's for homework. BEB PS I told you not to mention that... Logical
If you draw a triangle with a horizontal line halfway up and a vertical line half way along the base to the horizontal line, then put V in the top box, I in the left hand box and R in the right hand box, you can read off V=IR or I=V over R, or R=V over I. Just saying!

Shaunie
Just a couple of corrections:- volts X amps = fun and finally... IC = EP. We play nicely on this forum don't we ? Shaunie.

Martin Harris - Moderator
Posted by Phil 9 on 22/11/2013 07:57:11: how about IC > EP AKA The CSB Postulation? I believe that IC >= EP inversely proportional to Temperature ...is more accurate!
