Colin Leighfield
Thanks Andy. In 2001 they were parked neatly side by side close to the terminal and apart from being dirty looked perfect. Sounds as if they've been moved, or perhaps they've built a new terminal! I must do the Coventry trip myself, haven't been there for a while. Tony Bennett
well i was supposed to wait until april to start this one,but you know how temptation gets to you........................................................................ sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo i knocked up a slightly larger work top and we started gluing the formers onto the crutch. so far it all just slots together without the need for a plan at all, might start adding some stringers to it tomorrow. Tony Bennett
well between other jobs i have been slowly doing little bits. started fitting the stringers to the first side, being such a large fuselage i am having to build it in sections. so i did alternate stringers on the front section leaving the scarf joint over a former. then when dry i moved the fuselage forward enough to enable me to glue on the tail section and run stringers back towards the front, again these stringers run past the first lot so the scarf joints will be over a different former. will finish the stringers tomorrow and then i can lift the fuselage half off the board and build the other side. Colin Leighfield
This is looking like a light and efficient structure Tony, I can imagine the growing enthusiasm as you get the bit between your teeth. Very interesting to me in view of the other current project taking shape with Dylan.

Tony Bennett
well after some trimming and sanding, the nose lines up. will need to put a small balsa spacer in to take up the small irregularities of my building. big sanding day next to get all the stringers smooth and level and then i can start sheeting the fuselage to give it strength.
