Tony Bennett
well i am still plodding on with the first half of the nose. i think it is starting to look about right now. i think.....
Colin Leighfield
In the context of your builds, the word "plodding" can only be seen in relative terms Tony! The shape looks about right to me.
Peter Miller
Thought you might like this, a visiting Shack 2 at St Mawgan in late 50s or 1960.
Tony Bennett
nice pic peter. still not sure about a 2 or a 3 yet. the nose needs tweeking yet. hopefully the other side will be better. tempted to make this half nose a display item, if i stick a sheet of clear plastic on the open side, i could build a scale interior and have it on a stand in the house. he he he
Colin Leighfield
That's a stunning picture.

Tony Bennett
now that looks good. only thing is that the top is narrower than the bottom on the full size.

Dylan Reynolds LaserCraft Services
Best to give it a good scrutineering and make sure evrything is as it should be, you know the plane better than me, also servo trays, battery trays etc etc if and where you want them
Tony Bennett
front u/c leg goes between former 2 and 3. the rest i can sort as it is built. needs some stringers marking out next. wow you are good. better throw my half built nose away now then. Robin Kearney
Watching this build with great interest Tony, it is a lovely aircraft. Dylan, is that dev cad you are using there, how do you find it? The lovely photo Peter posted earlier had me looking around for other photos of the Shackleton when I came across this one, how about that for a colour scheme Tony? Tony Bennett
ha. i have seen that one. its now yellow and blue though.
Dylan Reynolds LaserCraft Services
I use a combination of Profili 2 Pro, DevFus CAM and DevWing CAM and TurboCAD, It's a cracking tool Robin, well worth the investment if you want everything it can do, but I did find the basic package a little restrictive. ERIC CLAPHAM
The ol' Shacklebomber eh ! I will follow this build with much interest . Served with MOTU Kinloss '64/'65 as a rather raw J/T fresh out of Halton . Can't wait to see it fly . Nostalgia is just not what it used to be . Keep up the good work .
