Eamonn Fahey
Posted by kevin b on 13/09/2014 19:48:50: Nice work Aemonn. I'm not being picky, but I have checked and can't see any mention of rivets on your list.
David Rothwell
as you all know rivets are an invisible but intregral part of any build
Danny Fenton
Lol only invisible until revealed Really looking forward to getting cracking. Barry at SLEC is hopefully shipping some lovely wood to me this week
Paul Swinscoe
Thanks Eamonn, Would you recommend simply getting medium density for all the balsa, or are some parts better with either light or hard?
Danny Fenton
I would suggest you only need hard wood for the spars. I keep a sheet of firm 1/4 inch just for stripping into spars.Medium and soft are my grades of choiceCheersDanny
Colin Leighfield
Eamonn, thank you for putting in all of that work, it's very helpful.
Kevin Fairgrieve
Whilst doing some research I came across this. Not my taste (neither is the music) but would be a different model. Kev

Graeme Poke
1/6 scale rivets? Impossible to see so not required! That lets me off! Cheers Graeme

Colin Leighfield
The radial engine mod makes it look like a Vultee Vigilant. Bearing in mind the type's proven sensitivity to spin recovery, subject to anti-spin strakes and the effects of things like Masefield canopies, I'd be very careful with that big radial lump up front. I wonder if it has any handling restrictions?
Andy Muckley
Nice interesting find Kevin, Jet versions now a radial , what ever next. On another note as anyone thought of using electric retract's or am i an idiot!
