john stones 1 - Moderator
Let a clubmate who'd crashed his have my uncompleted attempt, watching you lads add the scale detailing made me accept my limitations and move it on to more capable hands Still been viewing your threads though John
John Timmis
Thanks for the replies guys. It's good to hear where you are up to It's often hard to restart a build that has stalled for some reason. I try to do a bit every day (not always possible) even if it is only sticking 2 pieces together. That way it will eventually get finished & it keeps the project in your mind. The Chippie is a great model & flys beautifully. I've learned a lot from this Chippy project, From Dannys posts & all the others. So keep the posts coming. Anybody else out there still chipping away? "Keep on posting" Cheers John
John Timmis
Hi Well the Chipmunk is grounded for now. Dynamic lipos have served me well so far so I bought three 6s packs for the Chipmunk.. One pack is now showing 2 dead cells & the other two have puffed up to the extent that it is difficult to insert them into the battery compartment. They have never been abused in any way. Bad luck or what? Any suggestions re lipos welcome. Cheers John.
Danny Fenton
Hi John that doesn't sound very helpful! I have lipos that do that, I put it down to me having them fully charged ready to go and then not using them Cheers Danny
