Thanks for the replies guys. It's good to hear where you are up to

It's often hard to restart a build that has stalled for some reason. I try to do a bit every day (not always possible) even if it is only sticking 2 pieces together. That way it will eventually get finished & it keeps the project in your mind.

The Chippie is a great model & flys beautifully.

I've learned a lot from this Chippy project, From Dannys posts & all the others. So keep the posts coming.

Anybody else out there still chipping away?

Hi

Well the Chipmunk is grounded for now.

Dynamic lipos have served me well so far so I bought three 6s packs for the Chipmunk.. One pack is now showing 2 dead cells & the other two have puffed up to the extent that it is difficult to insert them into the battery compartment.

They have never been abused in any way. Bad luck or what?

Any suggestions re lipos welcome.
