Chris Anthony
Does anyone know where I can get hold of a 9x6 IC prop in the leamington/warwick/stratford area, ideally from a shop shelf today? My normal shop LHC only had a 10x4 in stock and I hated the way it made my Seagull trainer with an SC25 engine fly. It turns out I don't know of any other local hobby shops
Bob Cotsford
you could try Kits'n'bits in Coventry - pretty helpful chap. Or there's Leamington Hobby Centre out towards Wellesbourne if you get deperate

Haha sorry Bob, I assume you mean because of the distance, with nothing else implied?? LHC is actually my normal shop, which doesn't have this prop in stock on this occasion. Which I have found a shame, as normally they are able to completely sort me out with whatever I need. I will give Kits'n'bits a try though, thanks for the recommendation Bob. Paul Marsh
If a model shop doesn't stock a common 9x6 prop - then it's not worth them being a "model shop". Failing that, mail order from a model shop or wait for a local swopmeet.
kc
One of the advantages of flying in a club is that someone will surely have a prop or something to lend or sell you. Of course it has to be a two way thing and you might owe someone a favour in future. Many people would have 9 x 6 props tucked away somewhere or on some old model. Make a few phone calls to fellow club members perhaps?

Peter Miller
you won't get it today but Pegasus models in norwich are very good and very fast. A phone call tomorrow should get you one early next week or check on line. I should order two or more while you are at it.
Chris Barlow
The general rule with buying props is to always buy 2 or more. When you have spares in the box you'll never break the one on the plane!
