Tony Bennett
Yes i am back decided that Depron is the way i want to go now with my building, so i have been beavering away in the back ground. been focusing on Free Flight mainly with a few RC models thrown in for good measure. FF models RC been working on my CAD as well, so i can draw up the plans better to make building easier. Tony.
Piers Bowlan
You have been a busy bee Tony, very impressive. What is the twin, I don't recognise it, perhaps I should have gone to spec savers! Which CAD program are you using? I have had a go using Rhino for MAC but I didn't find it intuitive, probably because I am a bit of a luddite. I think it is one of those things you have to persevere with. eflightray
Tony, I hope you don't mind me suggesting an alternative method to building fuselages to how you show in the last picture. I use a box structure with part formers added. that way you end up with a nice internal box for installing the receiver, servos, battery etc. CAD is ideal for determining the box size. Here's a link to the thread I posted -- **LINK** Ray.
Masher
Glad to see you're back Tony, I've missed your build blogs - not enough of them around
Tony Bennett
seen it neath thanks. there is a box in the front of the fuselage if you look carefully. i like my way as i can lay the fuselage halves down on the worktop when sheeting to i can keep them flat, then i glue the two halves together and add the nose box later.
