McG 6969
Hey Mark, Still fighting the fever here and now it seems I've contaminated The LotH as well. By experience, I really know OCD can be a 'terrible' animal to fight but I remain confident in your gladiator abilities... Cheers & strength, young man Chris
Mark Elen
Hi Chris, Are you sure you've not contaminated the whole board? I'm coming down with the cold right now😁 The OCD? That's a life long challenge... Regards Mark
Mark Elen
A bit more done tonight. One side covered completely and finished. That now leaves the other side then its onto fitting it out. Not much left now. Cheers Mark
McG 6969
Hi Mark, Seeing your passion for details, I'm truly convinced that you will fully enjoy the Fury build next year. Splendid covering finish here, once again. Cheers Chris
McG 6969
... but then... what about turning your camera 90° to the right for your magnificent pics? ... ... could avoid me some constant neck pain when reading your posts... Cheers (again) Chris
Mark Elen
Hi Chris, Thanks for your kind comments, sorry about the photos, the Iphone has a mind of its own on this site... Cheers Mark
McG 6969
... humm... no worries, Mark. Very surely I can understand your 'cheapo' Iphone probs... My new Huawei Ascent 550 was acquired for the tremendous amount of €1,- (together with a provider deal of €15,-/month - all in - for one year) thanks to the superb research that The LotH did to find it... but, of course it's not a 'Steve' Job... But, in your case, we'll just blame the close presence of an enormous amount of local optical fibers... Cheers Chris

Mark Elen
Thanks Nigel! Bit of a lay off whilst the bathroom project was underway. Still got the finishing touches to do, (like fit the bath, shower, sinks and toilet😂 Anyway, I got an hour at the ballerina tonight, not much left now... Nigel R
Those DIY jobs do have a habit of taking longer than they should. Usually the main customer keeps coming up with new things to put in the project (well, if yours is anything like mine)... Just read through the whole build again, cracking work. Picked up a few things I missed when reading it before (fuse doublers using collets & 2mm wire, finishing the rear stringers before moving to the front deck & cockpit, plumbing tee as a balsa drill). Great stuff - thanks for sharing. I'd forgotten it was your RM Trainer build on the site - also very neat work on display again - that makes you at least partly responsible for me picking that one to build over this past winter. Paul Thwaites
Hi, A beautiful design; I'd love to build one. Mark's ongoing build commentary is an excellent aid and great motivation. Can somebody tell me which edition of RCM&E featured this build/plan (I'm guessing that there's an accompanying article that I'd like to read if it's still available on line). Thanks, Paul T
Nigel R
Paul Pete's original thread is here December 2015 is mentioned in there.

Mark Elen
Hi Gents, Many thanks for your kind comments. Nigel, I've been watching your build with interest, looking good. I always find loads of little tips in other people's build blogs that are very useful. Paul, Welcome to the forum. It would be great to see your build if you decide to have a go at the ballerina. I have enjoyed this build immensely. Peter, Can I take this opportunity to thank you for your efforts in designing, prototyping, testing and bringing the plans to us and for your encouragement along the way! It is appreciated. Geoff S
You'll enjoy the Ballerina with whatever power plant you decide to use. There were several built with electric power (including mine) whilst others stuck to Peter's original idea and used 4 stroke glow. Whatever you choose you may find the Ballerina mass build threads useful as well as Peter's original. Geoff
AndyD
nice to see ballerinas still going strong, ive not flown mine for a while due to loosing most of my 5s batt, thinking of changing the gear so I can use 4s as ive got plenty of them.as Geoff says you will love it whatever you use,its a fantastic design.
