McG 6969
Hi John, Really would like to 'see' that Slec jig very quickly as I'm probably the only forum member without one. ... and getting more envious each time I see one. Very nice nice progress followed along. Cheers Chris

john stones 1 - Moderator
Here you go Chris, it's fitted on a flimsy base but musn't grumble it cost nowt, cheap enough for a decent base to sort it John
McG 6969
Thanks John... just making me a little more envious now... As an apprentice, I can't know for sure, but wouldn't it be a bit handier to keep the board 'horizontal' to mount your Skywriter's fuselage to it? Or, am I not spelling it right again? ... Lucas Hofman
I will be a different (and much faster) plane, but I think i willl fly! Lucas ps. John, have you fittet the blind nuts on the top of the jig? It is a little silly that SLEC does not include enough blind nuts you can use every hole in the jig. I ordered and extra packet when I found out.

john stones 1 - Moderator
All formers in the rear end, side view only, i've some fettling to do to get the stringers straight, said i was rubbish at intricate stuff sides pulled in easy enough on mine apart from one outer stringer popping loose at the back...not glued right. Lot of extras and plenty of wood on the fuzz, mine still feels a light build though...yours ? John

Lucas Hofman
You are not the only one stopping up now and then John. I want to get the lower wing done before boat and garden will take most spare time next month. However, if the point is to enjoy building (in contrast to get a plane ready to fly) one should only build if the desire is there, so there is an internal contradiction there.
