Dave Potter
Hi Guys. Anyone know where I can find a smaller covering iron for getting in those little tight corners. I have triied most model shops without any success. Thanks for any input....
Gordon Tarling
Take a look on Ebay for either 'mini iron' or 'quilting iron'.

MaL
I made a tip to go on my temperature controlled iron. Set to 100 degrees (it's lowest setting) it works fine sticking down film on seams and in hard to get to corners. small bit of steel silver soldered to a filed down normal soldering iron bit. needs a bit of a clean
Steven S
This Coverite trim sealing iron works well for me. Here's the **LINK**
John Tidbury
Small irons are readily available from Quilt shops, haberdashery shops and craft shops - You mean your wife/girlfriend hasn't dragged you into one of these!!!
NormB
I've had the Coverite one for some time - it's 110 volt ( US ) so if you get one, you'll need a cheap UK to US transformer. A few pounds only. Don't know if the quilt irons will operate at the right temperatures - worth checking this before you buy. Delivery from the US took a couple of weeks; didn't pay anything extra duty etc. at the time. Norm
Martin McIntosh
DP, I have a Protech detailing iron. It only really gets hot enough to do Solarfilm which I rarely use. The normal trick is to heat a steel rule on your covering iron then press it into those tight corners. Free if you want it but, say, £5 postage. P.M. me if so.
