Jon Laughton
Did the same thing 2 weeks ago - charged it with a programmable charger and then the supplied charger and all ok
Don Fry
Check the pack, but I would be surprised if it has done any harm. I've done that to a fair number of rx packs over the years, left the plane on, and discharged the pack, sometimes for weeks, and it still does what it says on the tin when checked. Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator
But obviously not big enough for two days! BEB PS Sorry John, couldn't resist!
john stones 1 - Moderator
Oooh you just couldn't let it go could you. Packs back up to its full capacity, funny enough it looks like it did some good.
Peter Miller
I am afraid that I have done that many times with my Futaba FF8 and my Spektrum DX7. Just stuck them on charge for 14 ours. They still work perfectly..
FlyinBrian
I think the Tx circuitry will switch the tx off before the battery is completely flat - and YES I have done this more than once.
Mowerman
Be happy that you hadn't changed to LiPos for TX
Trevor Crook
Yes, that's why I've put a low self discharge NiMh pack in my DX8 - I wasn't sure if it had circuitry to protect a LiPo if left switched on. Ironically, as it shouts at me if I haven't moved the sticks for 5 minutes I've never done it!
