TartanMac
Just wondering Jeff if you did any calculations for how much fin area you put on the cylinders?I've never turned any Ling down or milled anything how long does it take to get your case where it's at right now it looks a lot of work. jeff2wings
So just a quick update on progress or not as it turns out as I had just sufficient time in the workshop to mess up one of the cylinder blocks ! However it gave me an opportunity to remake it ( lol ! ) with a different machining sequence TM, there may well be calculations but I just copy the engines I have in my collection, as for time ,about 15-20 hrs at a guess but a lot of that is in marking out and setting up the job om the mill/lathe before you start cutting metal here we go again ! took the easy way out on the transfer ports I may just run a bullnose cutter into the bottom of the ports

jeff2wings
It's a double throw with the pins at 45 deg apart, the intake phase is 205 deg total,a single cylinder is about 110-120 deg.BTW fixed that carb yet??
cymaz
Bought one off AliBaba and gaskets . ( yes , it’s nearly the panto season to ! ). Spent all my time finishing off the Dragon Lady. Back to the engine soon, promise.
