Hi, for £13 does it really matter? If it works then give it a go. If you are really concerned put it on a test rig and hammer it at 60A a few time until warm.

If really concerned fly with a separate RX battery in case of a dead stick if it fails.

PS Looking at on line photos yours seems to have some odd worn text, but it looks okay as the heat shrink is the right length + wires have similar markings etc.

+ve input is at the top on Colin's ESC, -ve is at the top on Denis's.

So they're certainly different. But just a different generation, or something else?

Comparing yours to pictures of the genuine ones shows a lot of differences.

I rarely fly electric but bought an electric racer at a recent swapmeet. All was in plane except esc, ordered one of the above and it arrived yesterday same Colin's @3A cost me £13.21 delivered.  Checked advert and was shown as 3A so no complaint.
