John Tee
Can anyone tell me how to find firmware version I have on a Hitec Eclipse 7 Tx please. I'm having trouble binding to an Rx using the Hitec Minima software and it has been suggested that my Tx hardware may need updating. I've been through all the menus and can't find any suggestion of firmware version. The Tx is 4-5 years old. Dedicated 2.4 set not module update. Thanks John Edited By John Tee on 08/06/2019 23:37:

John Tee
Thanks Cymaz. Will study that later. I have a hpp-22 gadget I bought years ago that is for setting digital servos up but can't find the instructions. Thought it was for servos only John
John Lee
John for what it's worth here's the hpp-22 instructions. I don't fly Hitec radios but used it to update my H4 charger. However I did have browse through your radio's manual & found the software version is shown on page 19 under 'version'. Hope that helps. Paul Marsh
Yeah, the Spectra Module has to be updated to use the Minima range of rx's. Mine didn't work, when I bought a Minima from the then Barnstormers Model shop. After buying the HP22 module, I uploaded the new firmware for the 2 Aurora 9's and the Eclipse 7, which now works. Also did the TX upgrade and rx's as and when I buy them. You can also use it to copy model memories onto your PC, for example when moving models from one TX to another. John Tee
Thanks for all the replies gents. Following John Lees suggestion in the manual I found that I have the latest firmware according to a web search, so it's down to trying other suggestions John
