Anthony Scott 2
Hello, I am the contact for Bloobirds Radio Flyers via our website. I have recently received a personal email from a Mrs Debbie Templeton requesting club help with teaching her husband to fly. I am suspicious because my email address is not publicised. Has anyone else heard of a similar approach? Tony

Ace
TDMFC Our secretary received a training request on the 15th Dec for her husband who had flown years ago and she wanted to get him back flying for his birthday next year - different name Karen Glynn. Brian Cooper
Why are requests for flying training being regarded with high suspicion? Just ask the people to go to the flying field on a Sunday to have a chat about it. . However, it might be worth suggesting better weather before having a go. B.C. Alan Gorham_
The week after the BMFA manage to get model flying training featured on BBC 1 at primetime on a Sunday and encourage interested parties to contact their local clubs and people think they are being scammed. You couldn't make it up....
Jonathan W
Exactly! Why not mail back asking them for a telephone contact so that you can have a chat? Then you'll soon find out if they are genuinely interested or purporting to be your long lost cousin in Nigeria.
