Problems with Spektrum receiver ar6600t

Recommended Posts

Hi all, first time connecting the battery, receiver and esc I had the constant blinking of the orange led.

I tried binding with the binding button on the receiver but it didn’t work(no binding plug with this receiver).

On my next attempt the receiver is lifeless. I have tried 3 different lipos and 2 different esc and just can’t get anything ???

what am I doing wrong ??

Esc plugged into throttle port on receiver, battery connected to Esc

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Marc,

1. Spektrum Rxs do not come pre bound to the Tx

2. A flashing LED means the RX is not bound

3. No led means no power to the Rx or a dead Rx

4. You are unlikely to have damaged the Rx by inserting the power the wrong way round

5.You do not need a bind plug with this Rx

6.If you have a satellite this should be connected

Check the power supply is correct. I have a had a Speky Rx that died straight out of the box so it's not unknown.

Can you post a photo of your set up?

From the instructions:

The AR6600T/AR6270T receivers must be bound to the transmitter before they will operate. Binding is the process of teaching the receiver the specific code of the transmitter so it will only connect to that specific transmitter.

1. Connect the remote receiver (6600T only) and any telemetry sensors to the main receiver.

2. Push and hold the bind button on the receiver while powering up the receiver. Release the Bind button once the orange LED starts to flash continuously, indicating that the receiver is in bind mode. Tip: It is still possible to use a bind blug in the BIND/BATT port if desired.

3. Put your transmitter in bind mode.

4. The bind process is complete when the orange LED on the receiver is solid.

If the batteries and ESCs you have used are known to be good and you don't get any light illuminated when you follow the instructions then return the receiver for replacement.

I’ve done it !!!!

I held the bind button on the receiver before plugging the esc into throttle port.

I don’t know what made me do this but it worked.

I turned the tx on holding the bind button and orange led went solid.

Turned off and back on and it’s all sorted.

Thankyou everyone for your kindness to a complete novice today.
