Alve Hansson
I came across a Magnum GP 15 the other day and am now looking for a suitable kit, any suggestions? Preferably complete kit or ARF. Conversion from electrical to IC is also a possibility.
David Davis
It depends what you want to do with it. It would certainly fly a small vintage model like a Mini Super, alternatively if you want something a bit more lively something along the lines of a Stik ARTF. **LINK** **LINK**
Robin Colbourne
Alve, You really need to give us a bit more information. How experienced are you? Beginner, experienced club flier, etc. Do you want to take off from the ground or are you happy to hand launch and dunk it in the grass or heather? Does your flying site have a tarmac runway, close cropped grass or something else? Preference for scale, semi-scale, flying wing. biplane? The Sig Wonder is one possibility if you can find one SIG Wonder The Malcolm Corbin's Mini Jazz is another good performer, although you can't get a full kit for it Mini Jazz Kits for small engines are getting harder to find, although a trawl through Ebay should find a few unstarted kits, which you will no doubt get plenty of opinions on, here. Such as: Veron Deacon Kit Galaxy Wizard I had a Galaxy Wizard with an Enya 15 in it which flew really well. Robin Colbourne
This is a bit different: Revell / Hegi 'Fan' 43.5" Wingspan or this: Ben Buckle Outlaw Edited By Robin Colbourne on 07/07/2020 13:58:
Paul Marsh
Not much ARTF around that size, possibly build a plan. These two are ideal on .15 size motors. First a trainer, and the second a faster model Tara. for .10.15 size engines. (one flew on a .12, this has a OS 15FP) Alley Cat. (OS 15LA) Atilla (OS 15FP) Kit
Alve Hansson
Thanks for your help. I am an experienced club flier. Not easy to find models for small engines. An alternative is also PEPE Kadett and Knut. **LINK** There are many suitable vintage models, but I want something different, I'm only 74 years old. I keep looking. Robin Colbourne
The Fun Fly 15 looks good. The Mantua Models Eclips (sic) appears to fit the spec: Mantua Models Eclips Eclips 10420. Specification, Length = 760mm Wing span = 1000mm Motor size = .10 -.15 Weight = 1100 grms

Matt Carlton
Depends on your skill level, but you could do worse than looking at a short kit from Sarik hobbies. Lots of the free plans in magazines were for similar size engines and many of them have short kits or at least ribs/formers. If vintage is your thing, a Mini Super from Ben Buckle would go well on a .15 Or alternatively, you could cram a .15 into the nose of a slope model like a Chris Foss Middle Phase 2 or a Sierra from PMP. Low drag, light weight and fly it a bit like a slope model using energy management etc. Cheers Matt
