Nigel R
Won't heat shrink come off? Or is the mouth of the carb tapered a little already? Would the stack/venturi be a useful place to poke the free end of the crankcase vent, so that the odd drop of oil will get slurped up by the intake? So once the oil has done its job, contains burn combustion material and any metallic bits you then decide to send it down the throat of your pride and joy...sounds like a plan to damage the engine if you ask me! ?
Don Fry
Don’t some OS 4 stroke engines feed the crank case outflow back into the engine?
Nigel R
That they do Don. Quite a number of them. Since around mid or late 90s I think. Chris, that exact same oil has already been in circulation in the engine for some time - does that sound like a plan to damage the engine? ? Paul De Tourtoulon
As did all old cars the crankcase breather in the air filter,,, Here it is with some hokey pokery for an exhaust,,,
David Ovenden
A fiendishly fine fashion to fettle your ferocious four stroke. The heatshrink velocity stack is an very quick way to test out the effectiveness of the idea.

Regarding re-circulating crankcase oil, a few people have also diverted the ejected crankcase oil into the rocker covers of four stroke engines. Paul De Tourtoulon
All of my four strokes are inverted, so the oil finds it's way down there without any help,,,

Would the ideal location for the open end of the tube would be in 'dead' air inside the cowl space, vs out in the airflow?
