gangster
I have never enjoyed sheeting over curved formers, I have tried cyno, pins and sticky tape and a few other method. Alway ends in tears before I get it right Today I was sheeting the top deck of an Ohmen and came up with the idea of double sided Velcro . Wide straps are less likely to cut in and unlike sticky tape can be removed and adjusted without damage. So chuffed I felt the need to share. If however there are better ideas I would love to hear them
Paul De Tourtoulon
Elastics, and for difficult ones the long elastics with metal hooks on each end, just wind them around your fuselage.
john davidson 1
I often use small blobs of hot glue while proper glue sets, it does not penetrate so is easily removed without damage
Geoff S
I use Velcro straps, bungee cord or whatever else is to hand - mostly toe straps. When I converted all my and my wife's bikes and trikes to clipless pedals an aeon ago I saved all the old pedals and straps and the straps have found myriad uses - one of them is to use as clamps in situations like this. The one worry is that good quality leather straps have disappeared and they are too useful to lose 🙂

Maurice Dyer
Or wrap 2" wide masking tape round the structure .
Christopher Wolfe
Damp one side of your balsa sheeting and it shall curl along the grain which greatly assists in fitting to a curved structure. Then use masking tape to hold things in place while the glue dries 🙂 * Chris *
tiny-james
I'm no expert and I'm not sure what you are gluing but could you use food wrap to go around your material two or three times Cling film (food wrap) just a thought
