toto
Just as it says really. I have a hobbyzone carbon cub which has " safe " mode technology. Is it possible to set this model up without safe mode ? My trainer wants to preferably teach with this disabled. If it's possible....... how do you do it. We want fond a way to over ride it. Cheers Toto
leccyflyer
If it's like the EFlite SAFE receivers, you can turn SAFE off with a different order to removing the bind plug during binding, described in step-by-step manner in the manual. GrumpyGnome
Lol, just answered the same question in another thread, but about AS3X. I thought SAFE was generally switchable from the transmitter....... with AS3X determined by bind order. That certainly worked to remove AS3X on the receiver in my foamy EFlite PT17 (the AS3X bit....). But I've never had SAFE and only use a couple of Spektrum rx's now. Shaun Walsh
Safe should be switchable from the transmitter, position 2 should turn it off, page 15 in the manual.
Frank Skilbeck
Had a guy turn up at our club with one of these and he could switch it off. It actually led to him crashing his model as he was trying to wean himself off safe mode, but relying on switching it on when the model got away from him, except on one occasion he flicked the safe switch the wrong way and took off all assistance.
