Terry Plumridge 1
From a local (Austrian) Buy/sell website. Has anyone ever seen one of these built and running? Cheers, Terry. https://www.willhaben.at/iad/kaufen-und-verkaufen/d/quarter-scale-merlin-v12-gussteile-bausatz-758726641

Rich Griff
I have never been to the model engineering exhibition usually in Alli palli in London, very early on in the new year. Engineers making usually working models in sheds/spare rooms. Absolutely fantastic, works of art ( not unmade beds ! ). Still, beauty is in the eye of the beholder..... Keith Billinge
OOOh nice model. But you could have all your fingers off at once with that baby...... Not terribly useful once you've built it.
J D 8
Nice and lovely to see running but you can see there is very little pitch [if any] on the prop so it is not doing any work.
Simon Chaddock
It sounds terribly quiet for a engine with a total capacity of 421cc (27 litre/4x4x4) making each cylinder 35cc and on open exhausts. Just and observation.
Graham Davies 3
Fascinating. The youtube link took me here: Not sure I like the sound, but it's still massively impressive in a relatively modest sized model. Graham
J D 8
Must have been running with little pitch in first video so as not to remove bench from the building.😁 Impressive.👏
