Sheldon Holy
Looks nice, it surely cant go as bad as the P-40! And you got that expensive exhaust to boot! That must be somwehat annoying.... Sheldon
Robert Wilsher
Hi, I've just spotted 2 switches-what is the second one for.Model's looking great; good luck with maiden. Cheers Rob
Sheldon Holy
Rob, one is for the radio, the other for Retracts. The Retracts have their own battery so they dont suck juice from the radio. Sheldon
Kelly
Cheers everyone. P-40. what P-40. The exhaust may be incorporated in my next model . The second switch is for the retract battery. The weather forcast is looking good for a test flight mid- week .
Stephen Grigg
Last night I "repaired "the 40,I should have been working on the Texan but theyve run out
Robert Wilsher
Does the retract servo use that more juice than the rest of servos; I also guess that the retract servo ought to be less busy than the others. How do you wire in another nicad so that it only serves one servo? I am very interested in this as I am building my first model with retracts-the Kyosho Spitfire 90 with RCV 90CD. Kelly
Hi Stephen, Took it out thursday. Had a bit of trouble getting the engine to run, when it did the tick over was way too high, wrong hole on the servo arm so I went back home. Made some mods so I can get my finger over the carb intake to prime the motor, throttle linkage now in the correct hole . Taking it out in the morning all being well . What do you think of your Texan so far ?
Stephen Grigg
Ive hidden it from the family at the moment Ive told them there is no spare cash, but not that Ive spent it on another model.Ill be OK on the 23rd they go back to college and I can use there rooms for storing of models

Kelly
SC 46, should be OK , used to pull my Seagull 40 through the air no problem with power to spare. Nice to see your Seagull back in the air Stephen .

Stephen Grigg
Ive only a radio to fit into a low winger tonight, so the Texan will be underway after that. The family take so little interest I can say Imepairing one and they wont know the differenceIts raining and windy here in Hampshire so Ill probably get an early start
Stephen Grigg
My first impression on opening the box is as usual with Seagull models very impressive. The build of the fuselage looks impressive and quite substantial. It certainly is good value for money. My 1st job has been to drill a metal engine mount to the holes in the bulkhead.Im fitting an old OS 90 4 stroke as I think it will sound better.
