Pete B
I have say that it amazes me when peeps pay more for an Ebay item than they would pay through a normal retail outlet - I guess bidding fever replaces a few brain cells. I missed out on an Airsail Auster kit earlier this year - my bid of £65 was topped by £2 - felt a bit miffed but I wouldn't have gone much further and I'll never know what the winner was prepared to pay..... Pete ps ooer, don't take me at my word over the wording, if you see what I mean!!! Edited By Pete B on 10/11/2009 00:11:

Pete B
I've had a look at the Heron thread and if I put that on a plane here, I'd probably get accused of advertising and have the impots (tax) people after me! The way I fly, I'd have to settle for 'This Way Up' Pete

Hamish
I have bought quite a lot off ebay and gain a lot of pleasure restoring a engine/model with a little bit of TLC. I do set myself a limit and often put in a silly offer which sometime works. Get amused by those who pay more than you can buy at the LMS and also those that set a minimum value at about the retail value for a second hand item and wonder why they get no bids Recently bought a Banchee for £10, with motor, which is an absolute bargain. Unfortunately as I do not have all the electrics its going to add about £90 to cost, although charger etc are a once off purchase. Really looking forward to getting this flying
Peter Miller
Having looked at the Cub (What is wrong with people who say that they can't find it?!) I reckon that it will go for £
andy watson
£60 tops, and I wouldn't be surprised to see it go for less than £50...........well until it was pointed out to everyone on the forum!

Stephen Grigg
What is wrong Peter is Ive tried, model aircraft,Ive triedR/C model aircraft,Ive also tried I/C Model aircraft and it didnt come up,but I like the cushion on the chair.I know my place Im obviously not as clever and proficient at E bay as your good self but I ll try and live with my deficiansies
Peter Miller
Its easy! Go to "Toys and games" To "radio Control" to Aeroplanes" When that comes up put in "Cub" to search for Cubs in Aeroplanes. You wil get quite a few. Just look for the Top Flite one. ending just over a day away. "Simple, Click, Click."Edited By Peter Miller on 10/11/2009 12:29:
Bruce Richards
I think it will go for £42 but you never know.
John Privett
My guess, £64.32. Yes I know it's a rather precise and odd figure, but that's also the way I bid on eBay! I'd never bid £10 for something, but I'd make it something like £10.11 - so I'd beat the other bidder who only £10, or indeed the other person who has a similar idea to me and bids £10.01. Sometimes works!
