  5. Masher, What happens if the voucher is not accepted at the show? Technically its a 'stand' not a shop. A situation like this is where everyone suffers, I try to give cash rather than vouchers for this very reason. Vouchers are not always accepted. What has happened to the saying I was taught when I worked as a grocer, "The customer is always right." Ted.
  6. Colin I copied and pasted into word your build instructions and they are a little more readable. Ted

  11. Hi David, Imax make a Quatro 4 at once lipo charger as do Hitech. I use a motorcycle size 12 volt battery and charge it with a normal battery charger that I use for my Nissan Patrol battery. Like a lot of others I only charge single batteries the reason is that I don't fancy being around when 4X3S lipos go up in smoke. Ted.
  12. BEB what a masterpiece! Chris has it right, sand the inner to the ribs, sheet wing and finally fit, glue and sand leading edge to profile. Keep up the good work, Ted.
  13. Sorry Adrian, out runners don't go in ducted fans you need an inrunner matched to the fan. Ted
  14. Masher welcome to the "Utterly confused" post. Nobody but Erflog knows what it is that he is trying to say so don't worry about it, no one else is. Ted

  16. Hi! searching Hobby King and the forum under "Bixler" I found that the motor ordered by another buyer was 2826-6 2200Kv length 41 mm. with the 2822 motor there is a long and short, with the short being 22mm in length, perhaps you've received a short motor?? Ted
  17. Hi Mathew You could contact Tim Calvert at Model Markings, maybe if you could cut them out he could sell you copies. I sent him photos and it just happened that he was making the same model and he made mine by sizing them against his model. Just check with him, it would be a shame to spoil a good model with bad markings. If soap and water won't clean them then I can't think of anything that will because they are usually sprayed with something after applying, and what will remove that will remove the markings also. Ted
  18. BBC, in a word No cannot be used for open structures as it will 'droop' into any opening. for suitable supplies you could try -Con Coat Composite Supplies, Munibung Road, Cardiff, 2285, NSW. Regards Ted Edited By Ted on 12/06/2013 07:15:15
  19. Welcome Chris, Just put "decals" in keyword search block above and you will see postings where people have tried to make their own some successfully some not so. The advantage of this is it saves time experimenting. Cheers Ted.

  22. If i am reading correctly I can only see a linear Voltage regulator which has a max voltage of 10 volts being cooked by a 6S Lipo. I use a voltage regulator with a 2S battery in place of a flight battery to run bench tests. But the LVR is discarded for a ubec wired into the main 5S battery for flight. Ted
  23. Hi Danos, Hobby King are selling a foam glider with : 2621-1100 motor, 8"x5" folding prop and a20A ESC, already to fly. So you should be OK. Ted
