Apologies Jon it was just supporting " vapour "
-
Our friends in Formula 1 can teach us a thing or two and they agree with Jon. Their experimental fuel intake arrangement involves a mixing area, prior to the piston cylinder, which mixes air and fuel, producing the said vapour, then ( in my understanding ) that vapour is ignited, rendering the intake charge Hot into the cylinder. We can but dream for the time being. Found the article here The traditional spark plug is replaced with a jet ignition chamber. Most of the fuel (97 percent) is injected as normal into the cylinder when the piston is about 60 degrees away from top-dead-center. (Top-dead-center is when the piston is at the very top of its travel within the cylinder). But within the jet ignition device, there's a small pre-chamber that includes a spark plug, and it's into this pre-chamber that the remaining three percent of the fuel is added and then ignited, when the piston is at 22 degrees from top-dead-center. At this point it becomes a high pressure jet of hot gases that enter the cylinder via a series of tiny holes, igniting the rest of the (now well-mixed) fuel and air.

Yes, is RC Carb -
Just one more test Frank, if your battery box is still intact. Put dry cells in, for one more try, as 4 dry cells are 6 volts. 4 rechargeables are 4.8volts

Simon, all good advice above, the Cox will be about £20 Schedule your sales for after 7pm, as maximum viewing time, schedule is FREE Also untick " Worldwide " as it defaults Worldwide and for me has been a nightmare of timewasters. Also, don't finish the end of sale Friday or Saturday Night, as people's seldom sit on ebay at those times. Get boxes, wrapping, and tape ready, as those motors will sell, and boxing up is a toil. -
Try this thread size from the Ripmax Catelogue Or maybe it is a diagram part number

Yes, the 1,2,3 is inviting you to set the throttle The manufacturer of your ESC should give you their sequence But You can try your self moving your throttle from high to low ( with the prop OFF ) during the beeps

Oh Yes, and Stop the silencer filling up creating a reservoir of unspent fuel, and exhaust oil, causing a deadstick ! ! ! -
All the IC lads at my place have the workmate, with some great cradles of own design. I will get photos next time out. The cleverest cradle to develop is 2 of those hand cranked clamps that open and close very easily on their sides, and screwed side on a 3ft plank, not gripping or crushing, but offering an adjustable cradle. 2 of these clamps, can even be welded to a bracket

You are right Toto I would still attempt not to have 2 thick metal rails so near the rx worth moving those to the rear, cutting down unused pushrod. You a doing great Toto -

Another way Toto, with cleaner air to the rx Turn the servos round the other way, shortening the two main Steel pushrods. The steering pushrod is long enough to reach the new location Now put the rx forward, awAy from 2 thick metal pushrods And mount the rx high, just underneath the wing Just an alternative, gaining less signal shadowing -

He admits he knows nothing about RC planes, and has 100% positive feedback, that is obtained freely from his customers, and feedback cannot be bought or obtained in any other way but by fair dealing. The model cannot be worth a tenner.

Persons with use of only one hand
Denis Watkins replied to Zflyer's topic in All Things Model Flying
You guessed it Zf, it has been done, and there is a chap in a wheelchair, with virtually no hand input. The Tx is mounted on the back of the wheel chair, connected by cables to the Tx sticks, and movement by leaning back and side to side, against hinged plywood pads, connected to the cables. He flies.
