Just ask to look at there paint chips, they all have them find the colour you want and they can mix it, alternatively take something the colour you want and they can match it using a spectrophotometer, I get as little as 1/10 of litre mixed somtimes, but also get it mixed in aerosols sometimes. If your paint supplier won't do this find another, most towns and cities have several

Plan builds using balsa, how heavy are yours?
Stephen Smith 14 replied to Chris Walby's topic in All Things Model Flying
Glue is heavy and excess is no stronger -
Bad installation if squirrels or pigeons are under the panels, they should have fitted vermin guards all the way round.

Epson cartridges are avaliable on ebay for peanuts, I think the last I had where about £14 for about 24 cartridges, I also have a cheap b+w laser at work was about £35 prints around 20 pages a day 5 days a week, first refill lasted about a year and instructions said it wasn't a full one, bought 2 non genuine 2 off amazon for £19 when I first got printer as I can't have it run out as it stops me working but should last 3 years between the original and refills, I also have another printer just incase it breaks

Love it Its a real thing could get it at one time in the UK but I believe it was an Australian product, same stuff as easy start available in the UK which was an ether spray used to help start engines but now believe its not real ether due to people getting addicted to sniffing it. Not sure if I've got the spelling of ether correct as it was making my spell checker go crazy

What is the most useless thing you have bought
Stephen Smith 14 replied to Eric Robson's topic in Chit-chat
Dx8 worst purchase ever -
I wouldn't worry about it, how many coppers understand it or even care, only time anyone would look at what you was doing is if you hurt someone or cause massive damage.

Pace Makers and Radio Control Query
Stephen Smith 14 replied to Keith Berriman's topic in General Radio Discussion
I had a pacemaker a couple of years ago, fitted Thursday flying Saturday. I asked the surgeon when he was operating about radio control mainly on 2.4 and he said he couldn't see any problems and he'd never heard of any. I have a classic car restoration business and he advised I shouldn't do any form of electric welding, mig tig or stick which suits me as I hate welding, just means someone else has to do it, he also advised not to get close to running alternators. In the house he advised not to get to close to microwaves so she has do do all the cooking as I also told her I couldn't go near cookers or kettles as well, result. -
E-flite 2021 Catalogue

Glad you had a good experience, but in my 50 years on this planet, Horizon Hobby has been the single most worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I have several outstanding issues that have never been resolved. In my experience they are a disgraceful company and I would not wish them on my worst enemy! Oh, and I used to spend thousands on their products. Wont put a single penny their way now..... Edited By Jason-I on 19/12/2020 09:27:13 I'll second that awful money grabbing useless company, just sell over priced toy grade tat. -
