  4. I believe that diesel can be injected into the exhaust of jet engines to produce smoke (with dye if colour required) but I think that it's being replaced by more environmentally friendly white oil (paraffin oil) injected into the exhaust.

  6. I've used APC-E for the 2 blade props and Master Airscrew for the 3 blade. Other options are available.

  8. I usually find that the eCalc figures are pretty close to those measured with my wattmeter. Remember that static current figures will be higher than those measured when the model is flying.

  13. Exactly, and if a 12" prop is too large a 3 blade 11" prop can be substituted. Don't panic Captain Mainwaring!

  16. Will probably fly better inverted. The front of the fuselage will produce a lot of drag, cut the motor and it will probably stop dead. The tailplane on the model doesn't correspond to the drawing. That's a lot of fuselage area ahead oh the CofG and not a great deal of tail fin/rudder behind it.

  18. If you see my post on page 4 I've already given you the figures for a 12x8 prop. If a 12" prop gives too little ground clearance you could drop to an 11x7" three blade Master Airscrew prop. Figures for this are below. Don't be limited by the props you already have, sometimes you have to choose between buying the right prop for the motor or the right motor for the prop.
