Danny Fenton
I was watching a video during some research for a model I am drawing and thought you might like to see it. The video itself is great, but if you aren't really a Cub fan whiz on to the 6 minute marker, (just after the deadstick landing). Big Cub Little Cub Cheers Danny
Simon Chaddock
GreatNotice how hard the little one had to fly to keep pace.

Danny Fenton
There were a couple of times I thought the model pilot cannot see the model because of the full size cubs wing obscuring his view. Do you think Caroline Grace would give me a ride in her Spit with me flying the model alongside. I have a feeling I know how that would go, stuff the model lets enjoy the ride Cheers Danny

Danny Fenton
The low turn at 2:34 is wonderful. It is a very good advert for the Cub I remember going for a flight in my Dad's Cub back in the early 70's. the Pilot was a friend of the family, and was a bit of a rogue. We were taxiing out to the grass strips at Sherburn-In-Elmet along a nice dog legged tarmac taxii way. Not wanting to get mud or maybe just impatience, John just opened the throtlle and we were away before we even got to the runway. Lord knows how that would go down nowadays. I wonder where G-BBYB is now...... Last I heard it was in a sorry state in a hangar down near you David
Danny Fenton
a bit off topic, but this was the last I heard of her....pranged by a pilot on his first solo AIB on G-BBYB Cheers DannyEdited By Danny Fenton on 10/12/2010 15:04:
Pete B
Great find, Danny, thanks! I flew my Cub today and it always look good in the air, despite it being a bit gusty. Pete

David Ashby - Moderator
Yes I vaguely remember that incident Danny. We fly not far from there so we get to see or hear about the comings and goings.
