WolstonFlyer
DIY Dentistry, what could possibly go wrong there!Just proves the USA needs a proper affordable health care system but that's starting to stray towards politics and BEB would shut the thread down before you can blink
David Tweddle
Posted by Tony Bennett on 28/10/2013 13:20:04: i got a dremel and epoxy here. Afore ye go get a bottle David
John Privett
Whooooooaaa.... Please, somebody tell me it's April 1st...
Pete B
Oh, WF, how could you suggest such a thing? BEB doesn't close threads because they are political - they close themselves when folk can't keep their comments in line with the Code of Conduct! I can see that Dentidrill could appeal to certain sections of society - much more subtle than kneecapping! Pete
John Privett
Posted by David Tweddle on 28/10/2013 13:35:43 Afore ye go get a bottle Is that "enter your date of birth to 'prove' you're over 18" think a regulatory requirement? I mean it's not as if a 15-year old could "invent" a fictitoious DOB to gain entry to the site, is it?
Bill_B
The UK needs affordable dentistry too in my opinion. Unless I travel a silly distance to attend a NHS dentist I'm saddled with private fees. Just think of all those modelling tokens wasted on keeping the dentist's Porsche full of fuel, it makes my blood boil!
John Privett
Possibly we do, Bill. But I'd much rather hand over my hard-earned cash to a dentist than let an untrained person loose on my teeth with that instrument of torture! (And I don't think watching a DVD counts as suitable training!) As Pete hinted, "Is it safe?" (Reference to 'Marathon Man' for those who haven't seen it!) Bob Cotsford
I like the right-angle adaptor, that looks a useful tool!
Martin Harris - Moderator
I think I'll wait until the DIY root canal upgrade package is released.
David Tweddle
Each DentiDrill comes with: Free Lidocaine Is that any good for getting rid of East Enders pain. It will never replace my Dremel though.
Simon Chambers
Just in case too many people take this seriously, here is what is said on their facebook page... "Ok guys! Some of you were right! The dentidrill isn’t real… However, the Dutch company ixorg (for affordable dental care) is! Check here: **LINK**" Si.
John Privett
Well thank goodness for that. It is April 1st after all!
Peter Miller
Mind you, I have had a couple of fillings come out leaving a very sharp piece of tooth cutting my tongue. While waiting to see the dentist a Swiss file has worked wonders and saved a lot of soreness!
