Paint suitable for servo leads?

Hi all.

I'm currently finishing off a 1/4 scale Auster Aop9.

The cockpit includes masses of wiring on show which hangs all over the metal framing which looks a bit like a rally cars roll-cage.

I was hoping to utilise the servo cables to replicate the wiring but need them to be all black.

I've tried spray paint and little enamel pots but it either cracks off or fails to dry remaining sticky for weeks.

Any ideas what I can use?

Colour them in with a permanent black marker pen! No paint thickness to crack and flake off, dries in 10 minutes and will work on PVC and silicone.
