Hurricane colours, photos, video & scale references

Recommended Posts

Whilst we await the delivery of our plans and parts, I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread specifically for Hurricane colourschemes, photos and videos of the full size and details of stuff we may wish to employ on our models like cockpits, weapons, etc...

Feel free to drop any relevant stuff in here!

Thanks for the Hurricane details above.

To feed in to this thread - thought I might add this link- its a guide to all surviving examples of Hurricanes in the UK whether - flying / museum / gate guardians etc.

The site gives lots of examples / locations for anyone wanting to see a Hurricane up close!

**LINK**

Not sure how often the details are updated but its a starting point.

My short kit is on its way. While I wait for it to arrive, I bought a copy of Hurricane book available here. By coincidence, it came out only a few weeks ago. Lots of informative info and photos. Made a good and interesting reading. Was a bit of a surprise to learn that Hawker Hurricane was the only figher which fought throughout WWI from 1939 to August 1945I, in active service.
