Correct tool for securing TX switches?

Hi All,

A couple of the switches on my TX are slightly loose. I have lightly nipped them up with some long nosed pliers and a bit of cloth for protection but its asking to scratch something that I would deeply regret.

Can anyone point me to the right bit of kit for this job please.

Thanks,

Stu k

I've used long-nosed pliers for that job all my life and never had a problem. I do use good quality pliers with a decent box-joint so there's little or no slop. They don't need to be very tight - just enough that they don't come loose.

One of my switches kept coming loose as I did not want to over tighten it and risk cracking the tx casing or damaging the switch I used a small amount of thread lock before retightening with long nose pliers. Since tightening the switch has not come loose.
