stu knowles
Hi All, A couple of the switches on my TX are slightly loose. I have lightly nipped them up with some long nosed pliers and a bit of cloth for protection but its asking to scratch something that I would deeply regret. Can anyone point me to the right bit of kit for this job please. Thanks, Stu k

Geoff S
I've used long-nosed pliers for that job all my life and never had a problem. I do use good quality pliers with a decent box-joint so there's little or no slop. They don't need to be very tight - just enough that they don't come loose. onetenor
Ali tubing filed, sawn or demengthlled etc on the end to leave two lugs to engage the slots on the locking ring if it's that type. If knurled ring short length of rubber tubing pressed firmly onto the knurling should do it.
Kevin 216
One of my switches kept coming loose as I did not want to over tighten it and risk cracking the tx casing or damaging the switch I used a small amount of thread lock before retightening with long nose pliers. Since tightening the switch has not come loose.
Trevor Crook
Looks like T9 do two sizes for £7.44 in their FRSky accessories.
stu knowles
Thanks to all who responded. I had looked at Maplins but gave up after wading through many pages. I'll get one from T9 regards, stu k
Ace
I have used successfully a set of Circlip pliers which have interchangable heads - 90' works best. Circlip Pliers
