Dwain Dibley.
My build of the Micro Aces Fokker DR1. Just a series of photos really, more so than a Blog. I am so glad I honed my skills on the Scrappee first, some of the techniques required on this one are harder. For a £100 all in, motor, ESC/Rx, servo combo these kits are superb value. D.D. The Start, manual printed and ready to go. If you compare this to the Scrappee blog you will see I am much neater. ?. There is a dihedral jig included.
Dwain Dibley.
Wing number two. There are a couple of typo's in the manual, which lead to some confusion, as the parts are labelled wrong. I will pass this on to Jon. D.D.

Cheers Chris I am Mate, I spent one of the happiest couple of hours the other day, trimming and getting a flight out of a rubber model. Also, all the major thinking has been done here, so I can just enjoy the build. All you need is a knife, some UHU Por, some tweezers, a board, and loads of patience. ? D.D. Graham Davies 3
Watching with great interest Dwain. 2 loves here: DR1s and small, table top construction. It all seems a lot less intimidating than 'grown up' models, don't you think? Graham
GrumpyGnome
My fat fingers don't get one with them. Absolutely 100% my issue as the kits are fabulous. I understand about the fun from trimming - just before latest lockdown, I spent more than 3 hours smiling and laughing whilst I played with a £10 'chuckie'! Dwain Dibley.
Talking about bigger models, I was back on this fuselage today !! Now it has to be baby bum smooth, so the vinyl wrap doesn't crinkle. ? D.D.
john stones 1 - Moderator
Would be lots of swearing n chucking stuff, if I tried to build one. ?

Dwain Dibley.
Hey McG, wouldn't that be great if your workshop was a plane, where you build planes. ? D.D.

David Holland 2
Dwain, please explain. Why do you have half a 747 in your spare bedroom? David
Dwain Dibley.
Lol. David, it's in a travel and tourism classroom at work. I have to maintain it. The interior is from a genuine plane, fuselage is ply over a framework of ribs. D.D.
