Danny Fenton
I like most modellers that have flown few circuits, were in awe of Mick Reeves Fournier and Mick Charles Jurca Sirroco. These had working instruments. Does anyone know how they were actuated? Just curious.....
John Lee
I think it was witchcraft.... I well remember the Fournier at Woodvale in 1978 when Mick kindly demonstrated the cockpit details. You can see it here, starting at 3mins 45 seconds:

Paul De Tourtoulon
Great video thanks, I especially loved the F3F2 I built a radio controlled one with an OS .61 it was rubbish to fly and I gave it away,, I did like the "chase cars",,,,? Geoff S
The Morgan chase cars with (I think) JAP engines were brilliant. I can't say I was enamoured of the presenter's style but it is, over all, a very interesting film. I was 38 in 1978 and had absolutely no interest in model aeroplanes. How times change. Martin McIntosh
Strange that they showed the Roy Lever square `Lanc` and not the proper JDM one which was flown later by Dave Wright, built by himself and Arthur Robotham. Powered by two 50cc inboard engines. I too would like to know how those instruments were operated.
