How do these hold up over various temperature and fuel conditions? What about high compression situations? Not being funny but I don't think you have fully understood this very complex requirement You are right, tomorrow I will turn down a die punch on my lathe and make one from the sheet brass, you never now. Don Fry
Copper, what we used when flint went out of fashion.  Book of Genesis, comes from the same era.
Andy J
More washers made today just for practice purposes. Also bought a LED magnifier lamp for ÂŁ18 which helps with the poor eyesight problems as found it difficult to read the digital readouts and measurement graticule markings on the lathe. Paul De Tourtoulon
So where are these precious washers, up on Ebay,,,🥳
Andy J
Nope as don't think a copper washer at ÂŁ10 each would sell. Mind you if I make say a 100 then there could be a price break to say ÂŁ2 each. If only I had purchased a lathe with CNC!
Denis Watkins
You have to ask yourself Andy, how many lives do we have, and how precious time is for flying. Please don't even consider turning up 100. All your club mates will have one or two washers in their flight box that you can have.
Mike T
To not be defeated by circumstances and do whatever it takes to get the job done - in defiance of logic, reason and common sense. These are sturdy British characteristics which we abandon at our peril! There are times in our lives when such dogged determination is essential.  This isn't one of them...

Don Fry
Aaaaaaarrrrrr, but but happiness is 3 glowplugs and 4  washers, misery is 3 glow plugs and 2 washers. To paraphrase Dickens? And they are not a washer, they are a sealing gasket.  BTW, this forum discussed silencer seals today. And castor oil. Rest my case M’Lud.
Don Fry
Just on line, and a pack of 5 OS plug washers is a part. Might help if anyone is looking in future. Plug gasket set 5pieces/71690020

Don Fry
Got me going now. RC JAPAN does it for about 250 Yen, which is little. The Japanese have a free trade agreement with the UK, no duty, and postage from Japan for small stuff isn’t a lot. Reliable company. No fakes. They supplied me with OS F plugs in the Covid thing when stuff was chaos. Agree with you, you don’t need them, you can make them.
