Model shops or otherwise - I need a lead, USB-A to 3.5mm mono minijack. I thought it would be a cinch on Ebay or Amazon, but it proved to be not so. Searched Amazon France too (I'm there currently) with same result. Good supplief suggestions?

If its for a sim I don't think a straight through cable will work, there are normally some electronics involved

First of all what would the cable be used for as there seems to be some confusion. A USB A has 4 conductors 2 x 5V power and 2 data. It seems like the only use a mono mini-jack plug with only 2 connections when connected to a USB, would be to carry the power.

Or 1 ground and 1 data output from transmitter to simulator.

5v power and data in (to the transmitter) are not needed as the transmitter uses it's own power.

Thanks Steve - pic shows a stereo 3.5mm, not sure that would work since the Dx6i socket is for mono.

In which case, the mono jack plug must just be for the differential pair (not power and ground).
