Fly Boy 3
Hi all, wondered if anyone has had this foamie. I need to ask some questions regarding esc/motor ? Thank you.

Fly Boy 3
Yes that’s the one EB. Bought used but with duff motor or esc. This is my first foamie but cannot see how foam cowl can come off. Looks like it is glued. Is this normal ? Thank you.
Denis Watkins
Generally with BNF, you have to cut carefully and straight enough to replace parts. Parts from Earlybirds video are here
Colin Carpenter
Pull up the manual online. Drawings are there that show removal. Screwed. Colin

Fly Boy 3
Thanks guys for your help. The screws are tiny, and my eye sight does not help. Cheers Feeling better now lol.
Fly Boy 3
Removed cowl with ease plus esc and motor. Found utube video showing how to test system using servo tester. This I did and found motor ok so esc is for the bin. I have a 60amp esc which I used for the test, can I use this (to save money) instead of duff 30amp esc which came with model. ? Thanks
