Rich too
Hi there, I am looking at something similar in size to the Wots wot artf model (nla) to fly on ic and that will fit in the car fully assembled (large 4x4). Any thoughts? Not too expensive as it will be a hack. Much appreciated

GrumpyGnome
Double Trouble, OS46. Great combo. Covering gets a bit tatty though.....
Rich too
Thank you both. I would prefer petrol power, perhaps 15cc for 90 size planes. Would an Acro Wot fit in a large car assembled?
PDB
There's always the Panic, much loved by those who fly them at my club. https://www.jperkins.com/products/JPDAA1001
Rich too
A Panic is actually a really good call. Me and a friend used to be in Avicraft all the time as teenagers around the time the Panic was designed. I’ve never really been a fan of them, however, perhaps I should give one a try 🤔👍
Geoff S
My HK Gloster Gladiator is always fully assembled and is easy to transport. My Flair SE5a would also fit easily, though I usually assemble it at the field as I do my DBS&S 58" Moths (though at 58" ws they'd be a bit of squeeze assembled)
Yaho
Hey there! I’ve had good luck with the HobbyKing Balsa Wood Trainer for something like that. It’s a decent size for IC engines and fits in my 4x4 with room to spare. Plus, it’s pretty affordable for a hack project.
Robin Colbourne
Even if you had a Smart Car you could still fit a 16" span Simprop Zaunkönig (Wren) in it. Ailerons on the bottom wing make it pretty wild: Edited July 6 by Robin Colbourne

Glow or electric, in the first case?
Don Fry
The kit, i assume the others are the same size. Don’t do foamie or artf anymore. I had an odd failure in an ARTF. Moter pulled out. What do you do then. I like an aggressive elevator, but not that much. ARTF, fragile joints, foami nice , but looks like scrap very quickly. Brian Cooper
This one fits in a car in one piece...... just. It's a Black Horse Ultimate with an ASP 120 F/S up front. The model is a very capable performer and is a delight to fly. It is now 18 years old and still going strong.. The wheels are getting smaller due to the wear they have had over the years... Lol. Regularly seen at Buckminster on Achievement Scheme days.

Paul De Tourtoulon
I have never owned an Ultimate but flow a lot of them, and they are a real delight to fly.
