one of our member's who fell off his perch left a fair ammount of old mag's rcme's etc---before they went to be recycled..we were asked if we would like any to read----i took some from the late 90's......and wouldn't mind seeing some of the Model's that were on the cover then...make a return to the mag's now.......much better than A10's and the like for sure....

Good issue but .............................. the Bushwacker returns !  Aaarggghhhh  !

But seeing as Mr Whitaker has had a bad experience, I'll forgive you this once.

GG

Might be all he has left GG - he lost at least a dozen airframes in the arson attack I'm very sorry to say.

Have just scanned through the Magazine, a good selection of articles as usual.
In reader’s letters, Alan J Main’s reply seems to imply that FHSS is superior to DSSS.
As a Spektrum owner my I make the following observations.
The wider bandwidth available for 2.4Ghz is used to advantage by Spektrum. The wider the bandwidth the less power is needed to get through the noise. Also expansion of the bandwidth (spread spectrum) is what it is all about.
In his 'simplistic way to look at 2.4Ghz' actually DSSS is not limited to two rooms only but can pick ANY two rooms from up to eighty available.
The clever bit in both systems is in the despreading and synchronisation of the received signal, here due to long term stability requirements, the DSSS receiver needs to be the most advanced.
