I have a Saito 62 and looking for a manual. Anyone know which one to use the FA62a or FA62b. There has to be a difference?

Maybe I am being picky or over sensitive. I get twitchy when watching video of rc planes were the pilot stands/kneels in front of the aircraft when connecting the battery. With i/c you have no choice but placing yourself over the prop while connecting the battery. I know we have throttle cut but it still concerns me.

Thingiverse show a number of servo mounts for 3D printing. I have some in use at the m9ment all good. Same as electric motor mounts on my foam models.

This method appears on a USA web site and has been used by one of our club members for strengthening his foam models. He was kind enough to pass the method to me and it maybe useful to others. 1st coat impregnates wood and sticks fibre glass cloth to it. 2nd coat fills weave on f/glass cloth. 3rd coat gives a smooth finish ready for priming. 1. Cut cloth 1 inch overhang on the object 2. Wet and dry the object 220 grit remove dust 3. Mix two parts resin 50 – 50. That is 200g resin 200g hardener and 200g meths,a 1 to 1 ratio mix until liquid is not cloudy. 4. Apply resin mix on pre positioned cloth, put blob in the middle and work out from this, ensure to go round the edges and check for bubbles etc 5. Leave to dry (overnight) 6. Remove overhang with sharp knife then wet and dry, remove dust. 7. Repeat stages 1 – 6 on opposite side of object. (wing, fuselage etc) 8. Mix resin (epoxy) but use only 50% meths i.e. 100g this time. Coat both sides leave to dry then sand dry (220 grit) 9. Repeat above leave to dry then 400 grit for finishing and priming/polishing. A fourth coat can be applied is desired

I use the BMFA azolve website for renewals. For all the other stuff I use an excel spreadsheet.

Does ut really matter. Its now law so either abide or at some point face prosecution or even pay for any injury damage out of your own pocket because insurance companies will always do their best to mitigate payout.

Gents to confirm my numpty status. There are two site Fantasy F1 and Fantasy GP. I am on Fantasy F1 as that's the title in the forum. So will now see if i can join Fantasy GP. They both seem to have the same amount of money to spend and look very similar from my initial observation.?

Nope. The main menu on the left has the create/join option. I note there is a plus+ sign next to it but clicking on it does nothing. I see an earlier message on here saying site down for maintenance, however it still seems to function on other parts of the main menu. The picture I sent earlier is the only page i have ever got to i.e. create league, noting the jpin with code in the top right. I suspect the issue maybe on the + sign next to create/join option. I will give iot an hour or so and then have another go, if that doesnt work i will take up fantasy gardening.

I was hoping to join the existing league, the Modelflying Forumites, I have to let you all know from the start i am as much use as a staring handle on a Tesla.

Okay lads what am I doing wrong. I go to the create/join league page. Top right states join using code and you get the first image. Enter code and second image as can be seen states invalid. I then tried entering the league name first in the create league option then went to join using code same result.

For J P. John can you give me the current valid code to join the league please. Thanks
