Fylingdales Flyer
One of my favourite photographs of my Daimler V8, I restored this about ten years ago. It would seem that quite a number of aeromodellers are into classic cars. Edited By BayNavigator on 29/09/2012 16:13:

Pete B
Rocamadour Balloon Festival yesterday. Unfortunately a rather overcast sky (still 21C though!) washed out much of the colour potential. One of the two, rather crowded, launch sites: Best get the wrinkles out before the launch, I suppose.....: Some deft control needed to weave through the trees on the way out....... Up and away........... Aaaah.....the kids loved this one!: Pete
David Ashby - Moderator
Some great shots there guys. I've just deleted a couple of shots that should be in this thread. This thread (here) is for photos you've taken yourself. Edited By David Ashby - RCME on 01/10/2012 14:42:

Ian Jones
Ha, Ultymate you may have got lots of squirrel shots but I bet you haven't got a radio controlled one! He did have a Super Squirell cape but it blew off in the slipstream Edited By Ian Jones on 01/10/2012 22:48:

Ultymate
Take Off, got this early this morning a project I'm trying to polish, it's no where near as sharp as I would wish hey ho, just goes to show how fast their wingbeats are Edited By Ultymate on 02/10/2012 10:22:
Ultymate
This is the economy switch for my bird feeders, dog on the front doorstep keeps the squirrels at bay and the nut consumption to a managable level, if I fancy some squirrel shots simply keep "Jani" indoors and the peanut cosumption goes into turbo mode. avtur
A couple of pictures from the archives, not brilliant photos but both remind me of interesting times gone by. The DH Rapide was based at Caernarfon some years ago and I took a flight in it; the SR71 was tucked away in its own airconditioned hanger at Washinton Dulles Airport, USA (where I worked) it was one of many aircraft in store awaiting the opening of an aviation musuem, which is now open. I got to know the curator and he was happy to give me a guided tour. One of the other 'craft was the original Space Shuttle, the one that didn't go into space. cymaz
A club member took this with a quad 'copter thingy. It has a gyro and gimbles for the camera platform, satellite tracking and several other clever tricks up its sleeve. This photo is from about 30m or so. He is flying it and is the lone dark figure on the strip . Edited By cymaz on 04/10/2012 09:01:
