Colin Leighfield
Looking at this stunning effort I'm not taking the proverbial when I say you've got the basis of the Short Mayo composite here, you really could do it. Amazing piece of craftsmanship.

Bart83
Hi Folks , The wind was calm this evening so i went out for the sea-trial. Men was i nervous even thouch i knew i was not gonna fly it the adrenaline flowed fast . She handels very well on the water and i have a feel she is a little over powered as she gets on step at 1/4th throttle. I was by myself and it was pretty hard making pictures and controling my model at the same time . . . but i made some pretty nice pictures : And here's a small video : **LINK** Cheers, Bart

Mart49
Read through this whole post. Just fantastic! Watching the last video, I'm impressed at your disciplne at just testing it on water - it does look so ready to take off! Can't wait to see the maiden. Great work
Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator
Fantastic Bart - she really does look keen to be in the air - a touch more throttle on one or two of those runs and there would have space between the hull and the water! Colin Leighfield
That's something to be proud of. A great achievement. With the speed backed off it could be used in a film to replicate the real thing. (Agatha Christie era)!
