Also, they messed up the original plan on the engine nacelles, shame as it was designed from the outset, but now access to the turbines is much harder and the thrust angles are now all wrong - might affect the final result... geoff noble Posted October 30, 2015 Author Share Posted October 30, 2015 hi paul not sure why you said we messed up as it was cut the engine mount was so high the top of the engine would have touched the top of the nacelle so we moved the engine mount lower and in the process carried the structure through the centre of the fuse not just a couple of inches from each side which was unacceptable to our inspector also now we can by using wedges under the engine give ourselves as much or as little thrust angle as we wish not just a guess. and we have considered access to the engines there is so much room in the nacelles I could stand at the side of the engine with a toolbox but seriously we can access the engines easily we checked Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
