Engine Doctor
Very glossy advert but the guy who asked about the future should be set upon by the fashion police for wearing that moustache .

Peter Miller
No one would have criticised his moustache if he had been flying a Spitfire!!
mightypeesh
It's all very clever stuff, but like I have said in other posts - these are flying camera tripods - not radio controlled aircraft. The operators are not even looking at the things. They are sold to take photos, not for the enjoyment or challenge of flying. I do get concerned with the marketing of them too. They all show them hovering above, or following kids around - I don't know how much they weigh - the specs dont seem to include minor details like that on dji's site, I would not want one dropping on my head though! Can you imagine if somebody turned up at the patch and started hovering a heli of any size above the pitts!........ I must be getting old..... Now where's my slippers? Cheers, Simon
bouncebounce crunch
Creepy Orwellian Big Brother acceptance Josip.. might be used the same way as in The twilight zone or The outer limits.... my memory cannot remember the title or series name, but it was one of the two. John Privett
I agree with much of mightypeesh's post. Note that most of what is shown is predictions of the future and is CGI, not real. It also struck me that much of what is shown would fall foul of the law in the UK - specifically article 167 of the A.N.O. But the target audience for these future products won't be bothered with minor technicalities like that. After all, they've seen it on youtube, so it must be ok... Hi Peter . He would definitely have been forgiven if he flew a warbird of any description but especially a Spitfire . But its definitely a fashion crime . ben goodfellow 1
you do a 15 mile bike ride then realise that 1 of your quads is missing so have the possibility of retracing your last 15 miles to find it ......... would also make the tour de france interesting..... Essjay
I dont understand why these so-called "concept" videos use quads with exposed props!. Surely a lot of the safety concerns could be satisfied by purely encasing/shrouding the props. I don't see it affecting the flight characteristics in any way, but I could be wrong.
