Wilco Wingco
One of the best books I have ever read. No matter how many times I read it. My grandson, aged 9, has read it too. There are so many levels and meanings, and its a great story.
McG 6969
I can totally agree with Wilco. It is entertaining, kind of philosophical and pedagogic at the same time. Especially if you read it a few times. IMHO and within some aspects, it could be compared to 'Le Petit Prince' by Saint-Exupéry. Meaning by that, the same kind of 'discovery journey'. So, if you just discovered there was a book as well, Jonathan would very certainly "kick" you, BBC. KiwiKid
It's quite amazing how people seem to identify with JLS and how long lasting the effect has been. I took the liberty of borrowing one of the songs to go on the vid of one of my slopers http://vimeo.com/141362483 Edited By KiwiKid on 09/04/2017 12:14:

KiwiKid
This is the RC model used in the filming back in '73 - presumably the full size gulls didn't take direction well.
TJ Alexander
Cool. I like JLS, and have just completed reading a collection of Richard Bach's other writings. He evokes the feeling of flight better than any other author, I feel.
J D 8
Richard Bach's book "Biplane" is also a good read.
