Hi all !

I had to switch to the rudders because my decals are ruined!

I had them for too long in a plastic bag.

Now the plastic sticks on them...

I ordered paint masks now to paint all the details , more work:classic_angry:

Dirk, Ive found the old thread regarding the weathering masterclass by a chap named Stan Caussell, who built one of the earlier gen MIBO A-10s and finished it really well - take a look - it really starts to describe the methods/materials from post 306.  It uses oils and paints to pick up all the surface detail which I know will work well on your Fouga, bringing out all those details you have lovingly placed into the moulds.  But you'll have to be a brave man to rub oil and grime all over that nice camo you've just applied... the prize is massive, but you need to be brave!

I followed the same method on my big 262.  Just make sure there's a sealing coat of varnish down before you get into the oils, as at least you can get rid of mistakes or make changes without affecting the paintwork underneath.
