Rocker
I have noticed Ripmax do not list the Wots Wot XL anymore and I know some model shops do still have the Wots Wot XL kits but is this just old stock Does this mean that Ripmax have stop production of the Wots Wot XL .If it is it will be a pity ,the Wots wot XL is a good kit and fly really well I have one with a Laser 180 in it BRILLIANT but if something happens to my Wots Wot XL I will not be able to replace it
Jon H
I think almost every model I own is now totally impossible to replace
Robert Welford
I've just acquired a Lockdown 2.0 project - a NIB Wots Wot XL. I was surprised to hear that they are are no longer available. I'm considering 3 engine options: 3W 24i Laser 180 OS GT 33 What do you think? BTW I already have an Arcro Wot XL powered by a 3W 28i and its a good match - unlimited vertical and reasonably fast. Ron Gray
I’ve got a Laser 180 in mine, great match.
cymaz
I would favour the OS personally There are not many aircraft on the RIPMAX page Edited By cymaz on 08/11/2020 20:33:

Robert Welford
Thank you for your views. BTW what size propeller are you using on the OS 33 GT with the Wots Wot XL? Robert
Robert Welford
I have yet to build my Wots Wot XL, but it will soon be my next project. I am still thinking about engines. My OS GT 33 is currently in something else, but I have an OS GF40 (petrol 4-stroke) that I could use. Has anyone flown anything with an OS GT 40 4-stroke? Will it mount inverted ok in the WW XL?
