John Shiell
Hi, Is there any limit on models, e.g turbines? Regards John
David Ashby - Moderator
Paul - Tony is there both days and intends to judge on the Sunday. John - No, but bear in mind it's a fly-in so, depending on how busy things are, jets may not have the sky to themselves. John Shiell
Thanks David, I have no problem with that, nor should we expect it in my opinion. Regards John
Slopetrashuk
David - Its been a while since I've posted here but can you clarify that Turbines will be allowed to fly at the fly in please? I was with Manny after the Nats and he seems to think no arrangement to do so (as is required by Buckminster) had been made. Buckminster is very careful re noise and advanced notice of turbine flying is required. He seemed to think that the next turbine date was a JMA event. David Ashby - Moderator
Jet update - I've just spoken to Manny who tells me there are still standing crops in some surrounding field so, unfortunately, it's a 'no' to turbine flying because of this. The upcoming JMA meeting will, he thinks, be fine as the fields will be clear by then. If anyone is intending to camp then please give Buckminster a call on 0116 244 1091 to let them know. Just so they can get a handle on numbers. David. Edited By David Ashby - Moderator on 04/09/2019 12:03:
Low pass Pete
Hi. Is there any restriction on using 35Mhz at the Fly-In? If no do I assume that peg on system would be in place. Thanks Peter
Martin McIntosh
Just how please can I book camping for the Saturday night, and is it really necessary? Links to the BMFA produce nothing and to top it all the site no longer accepts my login details. Any help appreciated asap.
Alan Gorham_
I'm not certain which site you think you need to log into but if you contact Buckminster directly they will book you in without hesitation I'm sure. **LINK**

Martin - it's not compulsory but give Buckminster a call on the above number should you wish. David.
